those garmin gekos are cheap and i hear they work well... so if you lose it, drop off a cliff, run it over, roll over on it.... it's not a big loss. havn't tried one but... i'm planning to soon.

I think the Mopar dash-top unit you can get for the TJ Wrangler is pretty trick.

Garmin rino has been doing a good job for me.
