great for running fast on dirt or sand but not for rough rocky trailes, I miss them solid axles.

Miss solid axles? Man what is wrong with you? lol

And I've had our project 4x4Link through some pretty gnarly trails, it articulates like you wouldn't believe!

IFS makes for a nice ride but spent most of my life in colorado and you didnt see IFS on the trailes most had problems with center highth.Your home built rock crawlers are still using straight axles.Down in these parts(Southern Illinois) though it works out pretty good(mostly muddy, big ruts),but I still seek out rocky terain and I think I will stick to My solid axle.check out My ride. http://rides.dieselpowermag.com/ride/1008335/christine5/1985/custom/custom/index.html

Dont get Me wrong thats a Beauty and every truck has its perpose.I just got done reading the feature on home page about Mikes red toy build and He went solid axle for the same reason I had mentioned.I ran an 83 toy for years and the reason I bought it was the last year they put out the straight axle.
