Tubs: Fiberglass or Aluminum?

What's better? Fiberglass or Aluminum Tubs? Neither? Is good ol' steel the way to go?

are you talking about tubing? and if so are you talking about tubing to Cage your vehicles, or tubing to make a bumper? in all these cases, use steel. Ive never heard of fiberglass tubing, and aluminum tubing would crush like a tin can. steel my friend is the way to go. 4130 chromoly tubing is a safe bet and will allow you to pass tech in SCORE

No, not tubing. Obviously steel or chromoly is the way to go for that. I'm talking about like "tubs" or bodies for Jeeps & stuff.

i'd say aluminum.. only because anyone can cut sheetmetal and make a replacment panel. if i were to try to make a panel of fiberglass... it would most likely come out looking like it was molded to a washboard...
