Is Ford ever going to redesign the Ranger? I mean this is basicly the same truck now as it was in the 80's! Come on Ford, build us a new Ranger! (and don't even think about IRS!)

I'm with you there. Mini Truckin' has a feature on the new Asian Ranger (and Mazda BT-50). THAT'S what we should have over here. But I just read somewhere that we probably won't get that either. We'll probably get a clean-sheet design, but probably not 'til '09 or '10. C'mon, Bill! What are we? Chopped liver? As a consolation prize, I say we get the 3-valve 4.6 mod as an option!

My friends, what could they possibly do to change the ford ranger? i went to Mexico a few months back and went into a ford dealer. They have LIKE 5 CARS that are not in the US, including an Extended Full Four Door Ranger, not those panzie fold out 4 doors but 4 real doors and you can fit maybe 5 people in the thing. I was considering buying one, but then i remembered I was poor.... just found this, couldnt find a mexico ford, but they have the same in the UK http://www.ford.co.uk/ie/ranger/-/-/-/-/-/-
