What do you guys think are the best wheels for off-roading? Cast aluminum, forged aluminum, or just plain-Jane stamped steel? If they're going to get bashed up anyway, are cheaper better?

Depending on how hard-core the trails are you're going on, I'd just get some cheapie stamped steel rims. They're cheap and durable, and if they get gashed up, you're not crying 'cause it's $1,000+ down the flusher. Forged hoops are cool, but better for the street.

i'd say the black steel series-51 wheels from pro-comp tire. they are cheap, strong and you won't be affraid of getting it jacked up.

stamped steal wont leave you stranded on a trail and if going exstreme (rock crawling)go with beadlocks.Ive seen alluminum chunk out bad tearing up the tire on trailes.
