There's a rumor that the Hummer H2 is going to go the way of the dodo after the 2008 model year. Sales have dropped off substantially, and the H3 now represents the vast majority of Hummer sales. Are you sad to see the H2 go, or could you care less?

I could care less, I only like the old school hummers....if I was going to buy a luxury SUV...itd be a range rover or cayenne...

Maybe the H2 isn't going away after all. GM just announced that the new 4.5 light-duty Duramax is scheduled for it for '09, indicating it may be sticking around a while, or an all-new model may be coming out soon. We'll see.

I doubt it.  Looks like they'll be putting a 4.5L diesel in it for 2009 or 2010:

I guess GM sees life in the old H2 as they finally fixed the glaringly creaky and plasticky interior for 2008. Have a look at the new one. Not bad.

yes i heard the same thing as 4x4 link that the hummer is not going anywhere. But me personaly the hummer h2 is a tahoe dress up as a wanna be hummer.

theres nothing like the H1  
second place is the first looooooossssseeeeerrrrrrr!!!!!

The H2 is pure and simple luxurious badassery! I've driven many a Hummer on and off the road and I must say that they have really stepped it up from the yuppie wagon it started out as!
