I want to extend a warm welcome to everyone in the Off-Road community. I hope this forum will become a valuable informational resource for you. If you were part of the old Off-Road forum from years past, you will need to re-register and login. Unfortunately, your login and password information will not carry over. But it only takes a minute or two to do, and your new login info will work across all the Primedia enthusiast sites, including 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility, Truckin', Sport Truck, Diesel Power, and Automobile, among many others! Please keep your discussions civil, and refrain from personal attacks toward other forum participants, or the magazine staff editors. Any abusive posts will removed, and users may be blocked after repeated offenses. Other than that, enjoy!

i have a stock 79 4wd chevy p.u. with body removed, tubular cage,5 bucket seats and deflated 35`s installed for off road excursions in baja. problem- no suspension travel and rides like buckboard. have been told i can convert to used strut suspension to increase travel, soften ride and not spend a fortune. any guidance would surely be appreciated!! thanks, vic
