We have been making our own welding tabs with a plasma cutter. What a mess. They have to be ground to be useable.

Are there companies that stamp welding tabs so we get the same tab each time with spending so much time?

Laser cut. Most people out here in the fab business get their tabs laser cut. I'm sure if you drew up a cad file you could contact a company such as Elite Laser or one of the many others and have a run made. Or depending on amount you could consider purchasing them from an off-road parts supplier. Where are you at anyway? I could suggest a few, but if you're not in the area it may not do you any good anyway...
