Does anyone know off or has done a a swap with a full size drive train into a explorer. I live in the Upper Pennisule of Mi and i am wanting to bring some off the desert racing theme up here.  

In a nutshell, it's WAY more work than it's worth. Check out Camburg and Giant Motorsports, both companies make stellar beam kits both 2wd and 4wd and will be cheaper and easier in the long run...
