Brakes on F250 2004 7.3 Dual Cab.

When travelling fast over very bad corrugations, the brakes fail. Is this "normal" and what can I do about it? As soon as I slow down or get on a smooth road they are ok again. I thought it may be a ABS issue. On a previous vehicle (80 series Cruiser)I was able to instal an over ride switch. Any advice would be appreciated. Regards Will.
