I have an 87 ranger 4*4 that I would like to slap some 33's on..  How much body lift would i need to clear the tires?  would a 2 or 3" body lift be enough?

3" Body lift 'should' clear, but you may still need a little trimming.

Personally I would forgo the body lift and go straight to a 4" or 6" suspension lift. Either of those should clear 33's just fine.
