So I'm in the process of finishing up the long travel front suspension on my T100. I made everything myself, A-arm's top and bottom, tabs, shock mount's, and Tig welded it all. I'm at the point of mounting the coilover's but have heard different stories. I've seen them mounted either way, but was curious to what's the right way. Someone told me that mounting them angled in at the top would slow the piston in the coilover. Would this put side load's or stress on the seal's/shaft?

As a general rule you want your shock to be at 90 degrees to the lower arm at full bump. This is the most efficient way of mounting the shocks.

Mounting the shocks at an angle won't create odd loads on them since the shocks are able to pivot independently. Really the only way to mess with a shock is if your upper and lower mounts arn't inline with each other, and even then with the amount of pivot available in the uniballs on the shock it takes a lot.

I wouldn't worry to much about damaging the shock as much as having the system set up correctly and functioning to its full potential.

Thank's for the tip, setting it up is going to be the tricky part. I have year's of experience with drag racing and hotrods, but have yet to tackle figuring out spring rates for dual spring's,sag,shock make and so on.
I just ran into a company called F-O-A, I've never heard of them, any imput on them?

FOA... well, the guys that run the show there are pretty cool.  Beyond that, I'm paid to be non biased so I'll have to keep the comments to myself.

I'll just say this... I run SAW's on my personal truck.
