im looking around for a new jeep does anybody know if the 1991 jeep cherokee was a good year? i was looking for a 94 but my price range is low and honostly i dont wana pay alot for a cherokee since im going to beat it . rather spend the little bit of exta on lift and tires

Yea 94 was a good year. There really isn't much to look out for on XJ's, just try to steer clear of the 89 with the Peugeot 5-speed. It's not bad, but not good.

What I meant to say was "91 was a good year" 94 is too, but that's not what you are asking... sorry, just slipped.

no difference between the 91 or 94, both have the High Output engine with 195 HP which is a beauty!
