What's the weirdest engine swap you've ever seen?

Well at the moment I am working with some friends on swaping a Toytoa 7N GTE (Inline 6 Turbo) out of a 1988 Supra into a 1985 Pickup in place of the 22re (4cyl Fuel Injected) that we had just swaped in in place of the stock 22r (4cyl carburated). Stay tuned for more on this swap.

Unusual, but definitely cool! I'll bet that thing's going to be a screamer! I know you can get some insane power out of those Supra motors. I saw an automatic Supra put down more than 600 horse at the wheels on a dyno. I've heard of some putting out more than 1,000 at the crank. Definitely keep us posted!

Oh, it will work!
Update on the Supra: Engine is in the pickup, and it turns over. But we can't fire it yet due to a water leak problem. More to come.

I am currently installing an original 1968 Dodge Dart GTS 340 CID small block into my 1993 Wrangler YJ up against the original 904 Jeep (mopar)transmission. Engine-trans should bolt up perfectly. Just have to change the oil pan to a rear sump type. Motor mounts are no problem... BUT... I have to find some prefab headers, if anyone knows anyone who might have some for sale... OR... anyone who might know anyone who would fabricate some. Hows that for some mopar power in a mopar JEEP? Any help or suggestions welcome and appreciated. ~Gary

Supra Update: It runs! And pretty good! Only issue is a bottom end rod knock that just won't go away. Bearings were replaced, it came back, now its just annoying. But it is alive! And you said it couldn't be done!

Not the weirdest but pretty cool and looks stock at least kinda. 72 500 CI Cadillac (Eldorado) into a short 85 short box Chev 4x4. All kinds of low end power and better mileage than a stock or built 350 too! The guy even gutted his turbo 400 and put the innards into a Cadillac Turbo 475 tranny. No adaptor plate needed! Uses the Cady radiator too.
