Hands down the new Suzuki LTR-450. It's fuel injected, has a wide race inspired stance, looks great (when you take the headlight off anyway) and is making more power than any other 450 currently on the market.
My second choice would be the YFZ 450 by Yamaha, with the Honda TRX 450 coming in a distant third.

last year, ATV Sport dubbed Honda the "Most Influential OEM" in the industry. No surprise. From the Baja 1000 to the GNC MX series, the TRX450R has been winning pretty much everything it enters since day one.

Would the Suzuki put the Predator on the trailer? I thought that was a pretty bad-@$$ ride, but I haven't ridden the 'Zuk.

The Zuk will have the Preditor running home crying. With the TRX450 running right behind it.

What alot of people say is can-am best for every thing but i would go with one for what you are going use it for
Trail -ktm/polaris
motocross-yamaha/suzki
dirt riding-honda
But personally i would go with the more top end stuff like yamaha y  ou can make that thing do any thing now adays
