I just bought a 2004 toyota tocoma and I am verry pleased with it, however I would like a little more ground clearance without putting an expensive lift kit on. I was told new springs in the front and new shocks all the way around is my best bet. I am not a mechanic so I know verry little about it, any suggestions would be much apriceated.

No matter what it is going to cost you. The cheapest way to do it will be with new coilover, like a Sway A Way stock replacement, these will get you a couple inches of lift to level out the front.
Larger tires are the only way to gain ground clearance though.

They work really well. I have something similar on my F150 and love it, thus why I suggested it for his Taco.
