I have just acquired a 1999 XJ in excellent condition, which means its time to take it apart. I am first replacing the exhaust, that way it passes inspection and I can actually drive it. I saw an article on here about upgrading to borla headers. I found a cat back system by borla for 2000 and newer XJs. Does anyone know if that system will fit in my 99? Thanks for your help.

I don't believe there is a difference between 99 and 00, but your best bet will be to call Borla and ask them. They must have specific reason why they didn't list 99.
You can also look to other companies, like Banks, for headers and cat back systems for your Jeep. There are sooo many out there, if the Borla won't fit you should have no problem finding one that will.
