Ok i have a 94 s10 blazer with a 3in body lift on it with 31's i want to go a little bigger. i am not a guy that knows alot of stuff about trucks like how to do it all, that is why i go to my friend. he told me that he has something that he can do like add a leaf on my truck in the back and then he said we could crank up the torsion bar about 3 in so i could have a total of 6in on my truck. my question is Is it commom to have a body lift and suspension lift at the same time and will it effect anything?

Yes, it is common to do a body and suspension lift.

But don't crank the torsion bars 3". You're just asking to break things like ball joints, half shafts, and so on. Get a real lift.

I have a '94 sonoma pick-up with a 2" body lift and a Rough Country 2" lift.  If you really want to lift the thing listen to everyone who tells you to "get a real lift" .  But if you want to go mild here's some insight.

I have been going through cv"s like one every 6 months.  I am working with RCV Performance to try to get that problem solved.  The guys over there are great and really willing to help us. Check them out.

The ball joint problem has been fixed with quality parts like Power Performance front kit.  The Moog stuff holds up quite well but not as well as the Power Performance stuff.

You might be able to fit full size idler and pitman arms in there.  I've heard suggestions but haven't tried it myself.

Diversified Creations makes a fender flair that will allow 33's.

Have a look at dezertdimes.com . The Metal Munkey and Baja Customs have been talking about getting together and building a 4x4 long travel kit for our trucks.  They are looking for someone with a S10 4x4 and a wad of cash to make it happen.

Have fun with the learning,

Randy
