any car,my? is if batteries submerge will they still work>?

Yes. Obviously a sealed battery like an Optima will work better in this condition but all batteries can be submerged. You may run into some corrosion issues on the terminals after but that can be easily cleaned.
To put it simply, if you are under enough water to submerge the battery, you have much bigger problems to worry about. Like the air intake.
