In the summer of 2009 myself and my Boyfriend will be doing a sponsored journey from John O Groats to Lands End in a Road Legal Buggy. We will be doing the journey to raise money and awareness for two charities close to our hearts – Water Aid and Cancer Research. We have chosen these two charities as a few months ago I lost my grandad to cancer.
As mentioned above the journey will take place in a road legal buggy. The buggy can travel at a maximum of 30 mph meaning that we will be avoiding all motorways and sticking to the quieter roads for our safety. After we have done the journey we will be auctioning off the buggy and the money will be going to the two charities.
We are asking if you can help in any way.
We are looking for sponsorship to pay for the buggy (which will then be sold and the money will go to the charities) (companies that sponsor will be advertised on the buggy)
or just general sponsorship for doing the journey.
we are also looking for free advertsing
and general advice on companies to approach and fundraising tips
