i own a 93 f150 w/ an inline 6 W/approx. 125k. recently the engine began "knocking" it doesn't stop when the car warms up but sometimes when driving it quiets down. i have parked the car to avoid serious damage. the oil is slightly discolored (almost like coffee and milk but grayer) and i have lost some coolant (not due to a leak) my only thought is that it must be the head gasket. i'm going to replace the oil and see if that fixes it. if changing the oil fixes it, is that the head gasket? is this a common problem w/ my truck? does anyone have any experience w/ this problem. i would like to diagnose and maybe fix this myself w/out paying someone. i'm cheap. please help

Your oil looks milky? 100% Head Gasket. Sorry.
