Dear Best In The Desert Riders! BLUEWATER GRAN PRIX
First, let me say, I’m excited about the second annual MOTORCYLE, QUAD and UTV ONLY GRAN PRIX RACE promoted by Best In The Desert. This has been a real piece of GOLD in our 2009 ~“The American Off-Road Racing Series.” Every year, here at Best In The Desert, we are expanding the sport of off-road desert racing, widening our horizons and looking for bigger and better ways to give you, the Motorcycle, Quad and UTV participants quality events that are fun, safe and still challenging! The 1st and 2nd BlueWater Gran Prix was a great success and I’m confident the MOTORCYCLE, QUAD and UTV community thoroughly enjoyed the event. The event will again run on the same team format as all other Best In The Desert events! We have had very successful Motorcycle, Quad and UTV long distance courses and for 2009 we are once again giving our very loyal MOTORCYCLE, QUAD and UTV racers their OWN EVENT, the BLUEWATER GRAN PRIX and no questions about it, it will be “THE SUPERSTAR OF GRAN PRIX RACES!” Best In The Desert is mixing it up all the time; for the Parker “250” we gave you a long distance challenging loop course, in Laughlin we gave you tight and technical and this year’s BlueWater GranPrix will be another fun and challenging Gran Prix course!!! Variety is the spice of life and Best In The Desert is offering you some very fun spice! We also know that you are facing some very difficult challenges with a bad economy. We know many of your are struggling financially and we want you to know that we have not raised our motorcycle, quad or utv prices for the last five years; we are doing what we can to help you compete in the sport you love ~ Off-Road Desert Racing!!!
Best In The Desert is very proud to have BlueWater Resort & Casino as the Title Sponsor of the BLUEWATER GRAN PRIX. I think it is very important that all of you racers realize just how important it is to our sport to have support like the BlueWater Resort & Casino. I believe if we want the sport of off-road racing to continue and grow we must have the quality sponsorship involvement. The BlueWater Resort & Casino is truly off-road racing headquarters in Arizona! They like off-road racing and treat us like gold!
The BlueWater Gran Prix is in Parker, Arizona; the BlueWater Resort & Casino is a beautiful property and sits right at the edge of the beautiful Colorado River. The racecourse will be on approximately an 11-mile course with some of the most unique Gran Prix environments available in off-road racing today!
This is a fun racecourse and the Motorcycle, Quad and UTV racers are going to love it. The Gran Prix is going to have some water crossings, some pavement, sandwashes, fast sections and technical sections; it’s a very unique course, it’s got something for everyone! We had a lot of positive comments about the Gran Prix course, everyone loved pitting along the Colorado River, so bring your boats, your innertubes and have a great day racing your race vehicle and cooling off in the beautiful Colorado River! I am asking YOU, the Motorcycle, Quad and UTV community to help recruit your race friends and get the word out that this is going to be an exciting, unique, challenging and fun event. Send your entry form in today so you can be assured a spot on the river for this great Gran Prix event. I look forward to seeing you in Parker, AZ in May!
Sincerely,
Casey Folks, Director Best In The Desert
