aFe Releases - 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Intake System

Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance cold air intakes, filters and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new Stage 2 cold air intake for the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with the V8-5.7L HEMI part numbers 54-11632 and 51-11632.

aFe stage 2 air intake systems utilize specially designed powdercoated aluminum tube that are designed to maximize air velocity and improve horsepower, torque, throttle response and MPG. The durable, one-piece 18-gauge powder coated heat shield blocks out engine heat and mounts to the factory airbox housing. 54-11632 includes the patented Pro-5R filter, which utilizes 5-layers of progressive cotton media that produces excellent filtration and maximum flow. 51-11632 includes the brand new Pro Dry S filter, which uses a progressive synthetic media, which requires no oil to recharge for maximum convenience.

In recent testing, part number 54-11632 out flowed the factory intake by 22% and produced an astonishing 18hp and 23ft. lbs. of torque.
