Recently President Obama passed a bill which gave you $4,500 in credit towards a new more fule efficient car. Now Chrysler went ahead and doubled the offer to $9,000, as long as you buy a Chrysler vehicle, with obvious restrictions of course. Now as we all know Trucks and SUV's aren't excatly the most fuel efficient vehicles out there, which is why Chrysler had a couple more restrictions. According to the report, Chrysler has these restrictions:
Owners of sport utility vehicles, pickup trucks or minivans getting 18 mpg or less could receive a voucher for $3,500 if their new truck or SUV got at least 2 mpg higher than their old vehicle. The voucher would increase to $4,500 if the mileage of the new truck or SUV was at least 5 mpg higher than the older vehicle.
So my question to you goes as follows....with incentives up to 9,000 from Chrysler, are you willing to go to your Chrysler Dealership and buy that Dodge Ram or Jeep you've been wanting?

If I was in the market, yes.
I would totally go out and buy a $500 1970's F250 pickup and trade it in for the $9000 credit. You would be stupid not to take advantage of this if you were already in the market for a new car or truck.
