anybody know the procedure to shift into 4WD high and 4WD low.  Just bought a 2002 Chevy and no owners manual.  shift while rolling or sitting still.  Manual engagement, automatic transmission.  thanks.

Yup, easy.

To shift from 4HI to 4LO you need to be completely stopped with the transmission in Neutral. Then put the lever into 4LO. Once the lights confirm the shift is complete you can get going again. Same procedure to get it out, stopped in Neutral.
