Every off road enthusiast out there knows that half the fun of off roading is upgrading your truck/car/vehicle!! However, recently while reading an article in off roading, I found out that one of the most dangerous vehicles out there is the ROV's!! at least that what the article stated....

The Consumer Product Safety Commission voted Wednesday to write mandatory rules to regulate the four-wheel vehicles, following more than 100 deaths since 2003. Riders have suffered dozens of injuries, too — some leading to amputations.

ROVs, also called side-by-sides, are two-passenger motorized vehicles designed for drivers 16 years and older. They resemble a cross between a rugged-looking golf cart and a miniature-Jeep, and have a roll cage — metal bars framing the cab.

Now my opinion is the following.... it's understandable that the government wants to make safe vehicles for the everyday driver out there. However, off roading isn't an everyday activity for EVERY every day driver. People who off road are enthusiast who know the risks of there activities and consequences should things go wrong. So I say to government, kudos for caring....however you should care about other problems, such as healthcare and what not...not off road problems!!

That's stupid. People should be responsible for their own actions, not the OEM's or the Government. Lame.
