When people go to dealerships, they expect to be treated with respect, knowledge, and above all, friendliness. Well according to a survey created by Power, that's not always the case. In fact, from personal experience, a lot of associates don't know what the heck there talking about in the first place. Most of them read the sticker in the window and think a sale will come out of that.

The study found that more than one in five shoppers who leave a car dealership without purchasing a vehicle do so because they were treated poorly or the dealer’s salesperson was involved in a pricing game or sales pressure tactics. The study also found that 43 percent of these buyers purchased a vehicle from a different dealer who sold the same brand...

So if you agree with this go ahead and state your reason why...or tell us of your personal experience.

Well duh. Car salesman are largely idiots that only care about making a sale and usually have no knowledge of the vehicle they are selling beyond what the window sticker says. It's a shame.

Personally I think they shouldn't hire anyone out there that doesn't have some knowledge of actual cars and what they do!! Then again though...not that many people know what they talk about anyway.
