Good year. Is it one of the last two doors or is it a four door with an old, squared body or an early, rounded body? I have a 1997 Chevy Tahoe and a 2000 Chevy Tahoe. The '97 is two door and the 2000 is a four door.

Also, did you buy it new or used?

Nevermind figured it out! Ok a little about my Tahoe. It is a 95 with a 5.7L 350 (gas guzzeler) with a 4 inch lift sitting on 33x12.5 BFG A/Ts. As of right now everything is stock except the suspension. I am in the process of adding a CAI and Throttle body spacer along wiht new Headers and perfomance ignition and cooling system. as for the exterior I am adding NERF bars, Brush Gaurd and a wench. Other then a few cosmetic discrepancies the Chevy has no defects with operation of the engine or tranny. I am absolutly stoked    about my new Tahoe I have wanted one since i was 16 but had to settle for a car . I cant wait to get my first mudding adventure under my belt and I will deff share it here.

Ok, so a little about my most recent Tahoe:

It is a 1997 Forest Green Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 Z-71. I bought it with a 9.5 inch SkyJacker lift, full Mossy Oak Obsession interior, 2 Rockford Fosqate 12s with a Rockford Fosqate 800watt amp, 44' Super Swamper TSLs, WARN winch/bumper combo in the front and WARN rear bumper, a Chevy LS1, Straight exhaust with no cats and 4' tips.

I also own a 2007 Voodoo Blue Toyota FJ Cruiser 4x4 all-time AWD. I am currently learning more about Pre-runners and plan to turn the FJ into a street legal Prerunner and want it to be featured in one of many magazines, including Off-Road and Four-Wheeler.

And lastly, I own a Midnight Blue 2000 Chevy Tahoe four door 4x4 Z-71 Limited Edition. It's going to also turn into some form of Pre-runner or Baja Buggy in the near future.

Well, that's a little bit about my garage.

Hello all, I am new to this forum, an hope to make some friends an what not.

I have a 96 Tahoe, White. 4x4 4 door, 5.7 L V8. Looking to get some rims and mud tires this weekend. I dont wanna put a lift on it as of right now. Im thinking maybe some one did before me, it already sitts pretty high. I'm 6'4 and I need to clim in it a little. But I am hoping i can get roms that will widen the wheel base for me.

Any suggestions?

If you want to widen the track width (wheel base is front to back, track width is side to side) then you'll need wheels with a shallower back spacing, or spacers.

just put my 285 BFG a/t on my 2003 Tahoe.  got the new Westin modular after someone did a hit and run on my 03 sportsman.   the new angled push bars look amazing and of course i took full advantage of the new light bar.  PIAA 580's, best off road driving light i have owned that is not HID and going to break the bank.  also yakima bars up top and reverse lights in the factory rack.  enough about esthetics though, rebuild the engine, new transfer case after i blew the other one on a trail and torqued my rear driver rim till it almost split.  cold air from K&N, new Hella bulbs for high and low beams.

I bought a 1999 2dr tahoe that was a vehcle impound for $2500 cad, I had all the rpo's checked on it, because I have never seen one like this before, it turned out to be a  2dr Z71 off roader, it even has offroader painted under the door, but it is hard to see, because the paint tones are very close in color. so far I really like this chev.

thanks for the info, Monica99

Hi, in January my dad got ahold of a 1992 2dr blazer/tahoe for me for my first ride! Pretty bad ass. Has a 350 in it, couple after market lights and stuff, just put a flowmaster supper 44 on it, and some 33x10 m/t on the stock rims. I'm saving up for a lift kit and not sure what's the best buy for my  money?

Hey everybody, I have been looking everywhere to get some ideas for a winch mount bumper for my 98 Tahoe!  So I finally found this forum and was hoping someone heard could give me some help or at least point me in the right direction.  Currently I have a 6 inch Fabtech lift on a set of 36 inch Mickey Thompson's and I love it.  I had a set of Super Swampers on there but driving it on the ROAD all the time killed em quick!!! These have held up really well considering... Inside I have done a little work to add my Double Din in-dash NAV and DVD(I couldn't stand that DIN and a half! What a dumb design)     Unfortunately for me I suppose I have not really found anyone around me to do some riding with so I am fed up with it and am looking to do some riding on my own but I don't really want to go out without anyway to get myself out of trouble! LOL Plus I think the rest of the truck looks so beefy it's just missing something!  My drive side headlight went out the other day and I finally got fed up with it and decided HID's would be more fun for a while so thats the only pic I have recently I will try and get some more.  Anyway any help with the winch mount bumper would be great!  I have access to a CNC and CAD engineer so if anyone has some templates that could work too!

Heres a PIC of the front end currently I will Post a good side shot soon

1995 5.7 350 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 4 door. My engine is missing really bad in my 1st cylinder. Either bad ring or hole in my piston. (my guess). before i start tearing my engine apart or replacing it anyone had any similar problems? any help will be greatly appreciated. was also wondering what the biggest tire i can use with stock suspension? thanks .
