well i have a 94 jeep grand Cherokee limited on the diagnostic screen by the shifter it flashes 4 wheel drive switch once and a while or sometimes a lot wondering what it is and how hard to fix?

You need to know what it's trying to tell you before we can tell you how hard of a fix it is. It should blink in a pattern, next time it does it tell us what the pattern is and we can go from there.
