Good year. Is it one of the last two doors or is it a four door with an old, squared body or an early, rounded body? I have a 1997 Chevy Tahoe and a 2000 Chevy Tahoe. The '97 is two door and the 2000 is a four door.

Also, did you buy it new or used?

Nevermind figured it out! Ok a little about my Tahoe. It is a 95 with a 5.7L 350 (gas guzzeler) with a 4 inch lift sitting on 33x12.5 BFG A/Ts. As of right now everything is stock except the suspension. I am in the process of adding a CAI and Throttle body spacer along wiht new Headers and perfomance ignition and cooling system. as for the exterior I am adding NERF bars, Brush Gaurd and a wench. Other then a few cosmetic discrepancies the Chevy has no defects with operation of the engine or tranny. I am absolutly stoked    about my new Tahoe I have wanted one since i was 16 but had to settle for a car . I cant wait to get my first mudding adventure under my belt and I will deff share it here.

Ok, so a little about my most recent Tahoe:

It is a 1997 Forest Green Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 Z-71. I bought it with a 9.5 inch SkyJacker lift, full Mossy Oak Obsession interior, 2 Rockford Fosqate 12s with a Rockford Fosqate 800watt amp, 44' Super Swamper TSLs, WARN winch/bumper combo in the front and WARN rear bumper, a Chevy LS1, Straight exhaust with no cats and 4' tips.

I also own a 2007 Voodoo Blue Toyota FJ Cruiser 4x4 all-time AWD. I am currently learning more about Pre-runners and plan to turn the FJ into a street legal Prerunner and want it to be featured in one of many magazines, including Off-Road and Four-Wheeler.

And lastly, I own a Midnight Blue 2000 Chevy Tahoe four door 4x4 Z-71 Limited Edition. It's going to also turn into some form of Pre-runner or Baja Buggy in the near future.

Well, that's a little bit about my garage.

Hello all, I am new to this forum, an hope to make some friends an what not.

I have a 96 Tahoe, White. 4x4 4 door, 5.7 L V8. Looking to get some rims and mud tires this weekend. I dont wanna put a lift on it as of right now. Im thinking maybe some one did before me, it already sitts pretty high. I'm 6'4 and I need to clim in it a little. But I am hoping i can get roms that will widen the wheel base for me.

Any suggestions?

If you want to widen the track width (wheel base is front to back, track width is side to side) then you'll need wheels with a shallower back spacing, or spacers.
