Earlier this month I brought you a story about a girl named Cassandra Smith, of Roseville who was put on"weight probation" in a Hooters restaurant she was working in. Needless to say this escalated and Hooters got taken to court because of violation of her "civil rights," or at least that was what the lawyer was using in her defense. Well today we come to a conclusion to this tragedy!

Two lawsuits by former Hooters servers claiming weight discrimination at the Roseville location are groundless, a representative of Hooters of America Inc. said today.

"There's no case in the first lawsuit and there's no case in the second," said Mike McNeil, vice president of marketing for Hooters of America, at a press conference at the restaurant on Gratiot.

Turns out that the case was dismissed by the courts and nothing was really accomplished except a lost of everyone's time.
