Dynomax VT mufflers

Just posting my experience with the new Dynomax VT mufflers.  I installed dual 3" (p/n 17157) on my '03 Chevy 2500HD 6.0L gas truck.  

The first set rattles/clanged really bad from the muffler.  Sounded like one of those flapper caps big rigs have on the end of the stacks.  Called Dynomax and they said take them back where they were bought and exchange them.  I did and got a second pair.......exact same issue.  On July 15 I talked with a nice lady at Dynomax stating they had a batch that came out of the factory with an incorrect valve tolerance that caused this issue and they could ship me a pair factory direct, but the shipping department was already closed for the day.  She promised to have somebody call me back.  After multiple calls on 7/16 and again on 7/19 I finally spoke with somebody.  No word about the above issue, so they are getting returned and replaced with something else.  

6.2Blazer.  Sorry for your bad experience with our Dynomax VT muffler.  As with any new product release, especially one like the VT Muffler that has multiple variables within each application it is installed on, we are working out the kinks as quickly as possible.
