aFe Releases - 02-07 Dodge Ram 4.7L Stage 2 Intake

Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe Power), an industry leader in performance cold air intakes, filters and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new Stage 2 cold air intake for the 2003-08 Dodge Ram Trucks with the V8-4.7L part numbers 51-12012 (Pro Dry S) and 54-12012 (Pro 5R).

aFe Stage 2 air intake systems feature a durable, one-piece 18-gauge powder coated heat shield that blocks out engine heat and installs using factory lower intake box. This system also includes a dyno tuned performance engineered wrinkle black aluminum intake tube and built-in 3-angle adaptor to maximize air velocity and improve horsepower, torque, and throttle response. 54-12012 comes with the 5-layer Pro 5R air filter for maximum air flow.  51-12012 comes with the 3-layer Pro Dry S air filter which requires no oils for maximum convenience. The intake housing mounts to the factory intake bottom housing for an easy installation.

In recent testing, part number 54-12012 produced 10hp, 16lbs. x ft. of torque and outflows the factory intake by 66%.
